Brief Lens Review and Introduction the world of the Leica Lens Screw Mount for M Use.

The Leica 35mm F/3.5 Screw Mount Summaron is an outstanding lens that can be procured at very low price. The sharpness and contrast of the lens impress me every single time I use it. Initially I purchased it to be used in product photos, but it has become something more then that. Here's two image samples so you can see the look and quality. There's a whole new world of lenses if you enter into the screw mounts. Obviously there's no coding, and you will have to manually set it in the menu of your camera.

Customer's frequently ask me, "What do you take pictures of?" If it's not product photos, it's sports cars, horses, or a friend doing some crazy yoga pose.

I want to share this excellent youtube video from Tamarkin on how to convert the screw mount lens to bayonet for M camera use: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEjcj_pZ4ww

Tootsie the Pony; you can see the unique characteristics of the camera lens by the sharpness and the unique bokeh. It transitions quite nicely.

This is the Vi Vante Delivery Vehicle, and it even dirty she looks pretty spiffy stopped down on the Summaron. I pulled back some of the highlights in Lightroom to bring out the cloud definition.
